material. All custom material is in long lengths unless
specified, sometimes up to 16 feet long, and still affordable.
How to Choose Unfinished Custom Flooring - Easy as 1...2...3...
- First choose a species, width, and, grade.
- Decide between a square edge, beveled edge, micro-radius(rounded
edge), or v-groove(large bevel).
- Choose NOT end matched, ends squared, or ends matched(t&g
on ends matches t&g on sides)
Once you have made up your mind about what options are
right for your home we take a 50% deposit, the wood is milled
to the specifications of your choice, and shipped direct
to your door. Final payment is taken upon pickup for transit.

At Hardwood Maniac we have a special place in our heart
for true hardwood floor craftsmanship and feel we have found
some of the finest wood workers in the United States to
provide custom hand scraped, hand hewn, and distressed hardwood
flooring. Our wood workers use old fashioned hand tools
on every individual long length wide plank custom milled
board that gives a look no factory in China can produce.
Its not even close so don't compare the two. They then use
only the finest polyurethane, wax, or oil finishes to make
sure your floor lasts a lifetime that requires minimal maintenance.
Although the price for custom hand scraped flooring may
be on the fringe of most budgets it is worth the sacrifice
in the long run. Hardwood Maniac offers 3/4 solid or 5/8
engineered long length flooring, graded to NOFMA
specifications.
The unfinished floor is then sent to a wood craftsman to
do the edge work, hand scraping/hewing/distressing, bleaching,
staining, and finishing. (Our custom floors rival Zanella,
Patina, or Renaissance flooring, except much less!) It is
possible to get unfinished hand made flooring with the edge
work, texturing, and sanding done for you. Just install
and apply finish.

made samples can be made to match color, once approved a
75% deposit is required to get order going. Remaining 25%
